Back to Basics: Ann-Sofie Back for Cheap Monday

Ann-Sofie Back is one of my absolute favorite designers, so naturally I was thrilled to hear that she's the new creative director for Cheap Monday. This makes her amazing designs more accessible, so hopefully I'll be getting my hands on them in no time! Here are some looks from the Cheap Monday Spring 2010 collection, with classic Back details like shredding and loose silhouettes.

Witchcraft: Anne-Sofie Back Fall '09

And I thought Morgan Le Fay's show was reminiscent of The Craft! Anne-Sofie Back continues the gothic trend with (what I thought) was a jaw-droppingly beautiful and creepy show. She took off where Luella left off for Fall '08, adding dreamcatchers (gasp!), crushed velvet, feathers, and slashed fabric to the mix. I can honestly say that I loved every piece in the collection.
