Fab Collab: Louise Goldin + Topshop

One of my favorite British desigers, Louise Goldin, has teamed up with Topshop to create affordable versions of her stunning knitwear pieces. I especially like the futuristic paneling details and subdued color usage. As a plus, the blogs are buzzing about her upcoming collection of studded shoes for the ever-popular retailer, shown below. What a winning combo!

Louise Goldin always miraculously creates something hard-edged and futuristic out of something traditional and soft--knitwear! Her Fall '09 collection showed fabulous breadth considering the limitations of using only shades of black. I thought everything was damn sexy! Lots of eye-catching party dresses, shot through with luminous thread, as well.
