Wooden heels seem to be popping up everywhere, including some of my favorite online boutiques Creatures of Comfort and Oak. What a beautiful, luxe look! By Finsk, A Detacher and No. 6.
Refinery29 did a post today about ombre hair dye, and it reminded me how much I loved the looks at the latest Proenza Schouler show. It almost makes me wish I was a blonde!
Kaylee Tankus makes the most perfect outerwear, which I found at online shop 80s Purple. Here, a not-so-classic trench for warmer weather, a cozy slouchy coat for dressing up or down, and a streamlined puffer for stormy days.
The vampire craze has saturated almost every aspect of our culture, including fashion, but I don't seem to mind it! I love the ways different brands have incorporated this theme into their collections. Above, a look from Zara. Below, Wildfox Couture and Anne Sofie Back.
I've recently become obsessed with Lookbook.nu, an international "collective fashion consciousness" that features exceptional street style looks from around the world. While I might not be able to get my hands on everything I see, it's so inspiring to see what these stylish girls are wearing!
More and more retailers are adding a futuristic feel to their clothes, but in a subtle, wearable way. I can't wait to get my hands on one of these looks, which feature spacey shoulder pads! From top to bottom, Pixiemarket, Topshop, and Nasty Gal Vintage.
My favorite fashion illustration, Fifi Lapin, is in rare form on this adorable set of slouchy tees from Forever21. What better way to show my affection for this fuzzy stylemaker?
I absolutely love these lookbook images from Loeffler Randall's fall collection! I never knew they made such chic coats and dresses. That grey "short sleeve" coat is definitely on my wishlist.
These closeup shots from Alexander McQueen's show are so amazing! The details are utterly exquisite. He always manages to make the most beautiful fantasies become reality.
Ann Demeulemeester turned out some pretty fantastic pieces for Spring 2010, including covetable buckle sandals and leather vests that every girl will be drooling over come April. It was so hard to pick just a few top looks, but these were my ultimate favorites. So far, the best show of the season in my opinion!
I am totally against real fur in every way, and why wear real fur when there are so many amazing faux fur options out there? I just snatched up this beautiful leopard coat from Topshop and am completely in love with these bottom looks from Opening Ceremony, Phillip Lim, and Forever21. Everything from sweaters that look like fur to shaggy coats and vests are at the top of my list. But just give me ultra fuzzy and cozy-looking, and I'm sold.
