Amelia Lindquist's new collection just popped up on my radar and I have to say it's her best yet! I'm so stunned by all of the gorgeous lace-up details and draped silhouettes, which are a bit more sophisticated but still totally bold.
This is my ultimate dream outfit for fall. Leather jacket? Check. Velvet dress? Check. I love the luminous gray frock this genius blogger chose to balance her look out. I'm thinking these styles, below, might do the trick (images from Topshop and Erin Wasson for RVCA).
These looks from Christopher Kane's upcoming collection for Topshop are stunning! The intricate grommet-work and bodycon styles are completely of-the-moment, but still retain Kane's signature aesthetic. And let's not forget those snarling animal photo-prints, this time re-imagined with a crocodile snapshot! Fierce.
Chrissie Miller of Sophomore always manages to pull off that steeped-in-cool style without looking like she's trying, and her new line for Urban Outfitters is no exception. Made with simple pieces that echo her pricey original collection, Scorpio Rising features Miller's signature zip dresses and skirts, plus loads of draped tops in super soft fabrics. My favorite piece? This slouchy sweatshirt frock, below, which I can't wait to swathe myself in.
I'd love to snuggle up to one of these all-American inspired outfits once it gets chilly out: a cozy flannel or denim work shirt, lace up boots, and some subtle western flair. Guess I'm a country girl at heart! (images via Pixiemarket, Knight Cat, Spanish Moss Vintage, and Urban Outfitters)

Palladium Boots are another 90s staple coming back around the bend, and I can't help but fall for them! Totally functional and comfortable yet certifiably badass.
The acid trip images in this Teen Vogue editorial are amazing! I love the pairing of neon fake flowers and accessories with camo and hiking boots. What an inspiring idea! (images from The Fashion Spot)
Like the rest of Karen Walker's accessories, this bolo tie is dark with just a bit of cheek. What a fun way to spruce up a plaid shirt!
I've been a longtime fan of Rhiannon from Liebemarlene Vintage and this specific getup explains why. What amazing styling! It's so funny how my favorite looks oscillate from hard-as-nails to sweet-as-pie...guess it just depends on my mood.
Another item I'm dreaming about for fall is the longsleeve version of the bodycon dress. Little details like cutout shoulders and floral prints are on my wishlist...(images from Pixiemarket, Topshop, and Motel)
My latest favorites from Forever21, all under $20! Just a few great necessities that will transition perfectly into fall...
The blogs have been buzzing about this up-and-comer, My Pet Square, for good reason! The styling and design represent such a fresh outlook, a kind of mishmash of vintage charm and grungy cool--kind of like Lover's younger sister or something. Of course it's an Australian brand...those geniuses!
My latest obsession? Finding the ultimate motorcycle jacket that won't break the bank. Thankfully one of my favorite online boutiques, Bona Drag, has the perfect option. Did I mention it's (unbelievably) under $100? Jackpot!
This girl's style is amazing! She manages to create such special outfits from basic items, and is such an inspiration. Along with her style posts she includes charming photos of everything from her cat to raindrops on her window--so sweet!
I have a feeling I'll be living in these come September! They're a great option for the ripped jeans trend, without overdoing it.
