Sneak Peek: Peeps' Fall '09 Collection

Amelia Lindquist's new collection just popped up on my radar and I have to say it's her best yet! I'm so stunned by all of the gorgeous lace-up details and draped silhouettes, which are a bit more sophisticated but still totally bold.

Velvet Goldmine: My Fall-Time Obsession

This is my ultimate dream outfit for fall. Leather jacket? Check. Velvet dress? Check. I love the luminous gray frock this genius blogger chose to balance her look out. I'm thinking these styles, below, might do the trick (images from Topshop and Erin Wasson for RVCA).

Primal Scream: Christopher Kane for Topshop

These looks from Christopher Kane's upcoming collection for Topshop are stunning! The intricate grommet-work and bodycon styles are completely of-the-moment, but still retain Kane's signature aesthetic. And let's not forget those snarling animal photo-prints, this time re-imagined with a crocodile snapshot! Fierce.

Graduating Class: Sophomore's New Line

Chrissie Miller of Sophomore always manages to pull off that steeped-in-cool style without looking like she's trying, and her new line for Urban Outfitters is no exception. Made with simple pieces that echo her pricey original collection, Scorpio Rising features Miller's signature zip dresses and skirts, plus loads of draped tops in super soft fabrics. My favorite piece? This slouchy sweatshirt frock, below, which I can't wait to swathe myself in.

Westward Ho: All-American Looks for Fall

Mish Mash: Cheap Monday Patchwork Jeans

I've never been a huge fan of patchwork jeans, but for some reason these Cheap Mondays (from a recent lookbook) really work for me! I think it's the combination of floral and polka dot fabrics with a light wash, plus those great motorcycle boots.
